POTATOES ON THE HALF SHELL 
4 lg. potatoes
1/2 c. hot milk
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
3/4 c. American cheese, grated

1. Bake potatoes and cut into halves lengthwise. Scoop out the inside, mash. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper.

2. Beat until fluffy. Pile lightly into shell. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with grated cheese.

3. Return to oven and bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees F.
