SLICED BAKED POTATOES | |
4 med. oven potatoes 1 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. melted butter 3 tbsp. chopped herbs (parsley, chives, thyme, sage or dried herbs of your choice) 4 tbsp. Cheddar cheese 1 1/2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese Peel potatoes if the skin of tough. Otherwise just scrub and rinse. Cut potatoes into thin slices, but not all the way through. Put potatoes in a baking dish. Fill them slightly. Sprinkle with salt and drizzle with butter. Bake potatoes at 425 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with cheeses. Bake for another 10 minutes until lightly browned. Cheese is melted and soft inside. Check with fork for doneness. |
