“TARRAGON HONEY MUSTARD” IS IN:

TARRAGON HONEY MUSTARD 
1 tsp. dried tarragon or 1 tbsp. fresh
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
3 cloves garlic
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. honey
1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Other fresh herbs in season may be added to your taste. Serve this dressing with your favorite baby greens or even over roast vegetables.

Tarragon Facts: There is a distinct difference between French Tarragon and Russian Tarragon for use in cooking. French Tarragon has a more pleasant flavor and is preferred for use in this dressing.

In Spring, you can purchase Tarragon plants to pot up and place outside on the deck or in a sunny windowsill. French Tarragon is propagated only from vegetative cuttings and cannot be started from seeds. When you buy Tarragon seeds off the seed rack you will be starting Russian Tarragon seedlings - still fun to grow!
