1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter

Put this in the skillet and brown well. Beat up 2 tablespoons of flour with a little milk and the yolk of 1 egg. Add 1 pint of milk and put all with sugar and butter. Cook until thick. Add a teaspoon of vanilla, then put in baked crust.
