CRANBERRY APPLESAUCE 
4 apples, peeled, cored & sliced
1 bag of fresh cranberries, cleaned & drained
1 c. sugar (more or less to taste)
1/4 c. orange juice
3/4 c. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice

In a saucepan, combine water, orange juice and lemon juice. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Add apples and simmer until tender. Add cranberries and cover, they pop! Simmer on low until sauce is smooth and thick, stirring often. There will be some apple pieces so don't worry if it's not totally smooth. Refrigerate until chilled. Sauce will solidify when chilled.
