1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. flour
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Mix ingredients in order given. Drop by spoonful on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. When cooled, may be frosted with a white frosting if so desired.
