PUMPKIN COOKIES 
1/2 c. softened butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 c. solid pack pumpkin
1 1/2 c. oatmeal

Cream together first 4 ingredients until smooth, then add remaining ingredients. Mix together until well blended. Then drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool and frost. (Cream cheese frosting is good.)
