EASY FRUITCAKE 
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 (8 oz.) jar cherries, drained
2 c. dates (whole)
2 c. nuts (not chopped) (Brazil nuts)

Sift dry ingredients. Put dates and nuts in flour whole. Beat eggs. Fold in dry ingredients. Mix very well by hand. Add vanilla and cherries. Grease and flour loaf pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
