CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
1 c. cream cheese
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. all purpose flour
3 sticks butter (soft)
1/8 tsp. salt
6 eggs, room temperature

In large mixing bowl, blend cream cheese with butter. With mixer on high speed, beat in sugar, salt and vanilla until light. Add eggs one at a time and beat until very light and fluffy. With mixer on low speed, add flour and blend just until mixed. Turn batter into a buttered 10 cup tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes, invert onto cake rack and let cool completely.
