GREAT GRANDMA'S MEATLOAF
This makes a delicious hot sandwich meal with mashed potatoes, as well as cold ones for lunches.

1-2 lb. ground beef chuck
1 small onion, finely diced
1-2 tbsp. ketchup (Hunts)
1 egg, well beaten
1 sleeve of buttery crackers, crushed into fine crumbs
salt, to taste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
water (to thin tomato sauce)
couple shakes of Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine first 6 ingredients together and Worcestershire Sauce if desired. Mixing well.

Coat a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray (Pam) and form a loaf in the pan leaving space around the sides.

In a measuring cup that holds 2 or more cups add tomato sauce and water. Mix. Pour half over meat loaf.

Cook in a 350°F oven for 90 minutes. At 45 minutes add remaining tomato sauce. Cook for another 45 minutes or until juices run clear.
