CRUST:

1 cup all-purpose flour*
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened

Note: For a softer crust use 2 1/2 cups flour.

Mix together and pat down in 13x9-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside and let cool.

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip, divided
2 (3 oz. ea.) boxes instant pudding (any flavor)
3 cups milk

1ST LAYER: Mix together cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and 1 cup Cool Whip. Put on crust.

2ND LAYER: Mix 2 boxes instant pudding and 3 cups milk. Put on top of cream cheese layer.

3RD LAYER: Add remaining Cool Whip on top of pudding layer.

Refrigerate for about 2 hours before serving.
