GREAT GRANDMA'S PERSIMMON
COOKIES
 
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 tsp. baking soda

Sprinkle baking soda over pulp and set aside. 1/2 c. oil 1 egg, beaten 2 c. flour 1 c. chopped walnuts 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. salt

Beat together all ingredients and drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
