CHINESE BROCCOLI 
Try this recipe for serving broccoli. It is a change from the sauce, buttered dishes that are so common.

2 lb. broccoli, trimmed
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1 can water chestnuts, diced
2 tbsp. minced onion
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. soy sauce

Cut broccoli in serving pieces. Cook, covered, in small quantity of boiling salted water until tender. Drain. Melt butter in large skillet; add salt, pepper, water chestnuts and onion. Saute a few minutes, then add lemon juice and soy sauce. Toss broccoli pieces with mixture. Heat thoroughly and serve. Makes 6 servings.
