BARBECUE RIBS (Country) | |
8 to 10 lbs. country ribs 2 pkgs. onion soup mix 3 c. water 2 c. catsup 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 2 tsp. oregano (ground) 8 tbsp. brown sugar 1. Cut all fat off that you can. Mix all sauce ingredients. Bring to boil and turn to simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often. 2. Reserve about 1 1/2 cups. 3. Pour all remaining sauce over ribs to marinate all night. The next morning turn ribs over to marinate until ready to bake. 4. Place ribs on a rack in a pan and bake 350 degrees for 3 hours. Brush sauce over ribs about every 1/2 hour. These are very good and lean, all fat is either cut off or baked off. |
