HAM AND LIMA BAKE 
1 lb. dried limas
6 c. water
4 strips bacon
2 c. chopped ham
1 onion, sliced, separate rings
3 tbsp. molasses
1/4 c. ketchup
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
butter
1/2 c. liquid (from limas)

Cover the lima beans with water and bring to a boil. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat; cover and let stand 1 hour, then cook until tender. Drain, reserve 1/2 cup liquid.

Line bottom of 2 quart baking dish or bean pot with 4 strips bacon. To the beans add the cut up ham, sliced onion, molasses, ketchup, dry mustard, ginger, Worcestershire and the reserved liquid; mix lightly. Put in baking dish and sprinkle with brown sugar and dot with butter. Bake, uncovered in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
