HOBO BREAD 
2 c. raisins
4 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
Chopped nuts (opt.)

Soak raisins, soda and water overnight in large bowl. In the morning add white sugar, brown sugar, oil, salt and flour. Mix well and divide between 3 well greased 1 pound coffee cans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand in cans for 1/2 hour or more.
