PENUCHE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 to 2 c. powdered sugar

Slowly melt butter, add brown sugar. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk. Cook until it boils. Remove from heat. Let cool until lukewarm. Add nuts, vanilla, powdered sugar; beat well. Pour into greased 8 x 8 inch pan. For chocolate penuche, add 2 ounce square of chocolate.
