MAYONNAISE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. tap water

Mix first 4 ingredients well. Add last 3 ingredients. Stir until smooth. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

SEA FOAM FROSTING: Combine 2 egg whites, 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar, dash of salt, and 1/2 cup water in top of double boiler. Beat 1 minute then place over boiling water. Beat on high speed of electric mixer until frosting will stand in stiff peaks. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring. Beat 1 minute. Spread on cool cake.
