1 c. Crisco
3 c. cake flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. lemon extract
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Beat well, mix flour and baking powder. Add flour and milk alternately. Add lemon and vanilla. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour or until done at 300 degrees. Leave in pan 7 minutes before removing from pan.
