SALMON PATTIES 
1 can pink salmon (can be substituted with tuna)
1 egg
1/3 c. minced onion
1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. Crisco

Drain salmon, setting aside 2 tablespoons of juice. Mix salmon, egg, onion, and flour until sticky. Add baking powder to salmon juice. Mix and add to salmon mixture. Form into patties and fry until golden brown. Serve with tartar sauce.
