"DOGS IN A BLANKET"
Combine in large bowl:

1/2 c. warm water
1/2 c. warm milk
1 tbsp. sugar
2 env. dry yeast

Let stand about 10 minutes until yeast is dissolved.

Then add:

2 sticks melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
2 eggs

Mix all together. Dough will be sticky. Refrigerate overnight. Then divide dough into four parts. Roll out like pie dough and cut into eight triangles. Cut hot dogs in half. Roll one-half dog starting with wide end and seal all dough so not hot dog shows. Bake until golden brown at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Delicious!

The basic dough can be used for nut rolls, breakfast rolls, etc. It is a very nice basic dough.
