EASY LENTEN MEAL 
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 green onion
1 garlic clove
1 can anchovies
1 tbsp. bread crumbs
1 pkg. pasta, preferably thin

Melt butter and olive oil. Add minced onion and garlic; heat to soften. Add anchovies with their oil; heat thoroughly and mash anchovies with back of wooden spoon. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and heat through. Spoon sauce over hot, cooked pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
