POWERHOUSE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
3 c. high iron cereal (Total, Product 19, or Just Right)
3/4 c. chopped nuts, optional

In large bowl place butter and sugar, cream together; add eggs, beat until fluffy. In medium bowl combine flour, oatmeal, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Stir in raisins, cereal and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Yummy cookies. I've always baked them at 375°F but they spread out quickly making thin and crispy cookies. Will the higher temp prevent this? Thank you!
