FIG CONSERVE 
4 c. peeled figs
4 c. sugar
2 sm. limes, seeds removed & sliced thin
2 tbsp. chopped candied ginger

Combine figs, sugar, lime slices and ginger; cook over low heat until some liquid forms. Then turn heat up to medium and cook until thick, stirring occasionally. When thick, pour into hot sterile jars and seal with paraffin.
