FROZEN TROPICAL SALAD 
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
3 tbsp. mayonnaise
Dash salt
1 c. whipping cream, whipped
1/4 c. drained, canned mandarin oranges
1/4 c. snipped, pitted dates
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 tbsp. finely chopped preserved ginger
1/2 c. chopped blanched almonds
Salad greens, optional

1. Blend cream cheese, mayonnaise and salt.

2. Fold in cream, oranges, dates, pineapple and ginger. Turn into 8 inch square pan.

3. Sprinkle with almonds.

4. Freeze 1 hour or until firm.

5. Let stand at room temperature 15-20 minutes to soften before cutting into squares.

6. Serve with salad greens of your choice.
