FRUIT SQUARES 
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. Crisco
1/3 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 whole egg & milk to mix

Mix as you would pie dough. Divide into 2 parts and pat 1/2 into cookie sheet pan. Use 2 cans cherry pie filling. Put other 1/2 on top of filling, lattice style. Beat one whole egg and spread on top of dough. Bake 35 minutes at 375 degrees.
