1 1/2 c. oil
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 whole eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas or lg. ones
1 c. pecans
1 (4 oz.) can angel flake coconut

Blend first 3 ingredients at high speed. Add milk. Fold in flour, soda, and salt which have been mixed together. Add vanilla. Then add the last 3 ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Frost as desired or glaze.
