BEER CHEESE SOUP 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
4 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. half and half
16 oz. Cheez Whiz
6 oz. beer
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. chives

Cream butter and flour over heat until smooth (do not brown). Slowly add enough chicken broth while stirring to make a smooth paste. Stir in remaining chicken broth and half and half. Add Cheez Whiz and stir until creamy. Stir in beer, Worcestershire and chives. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Soup is thin but rich and creamy. Yield: 8 servings.
