BANANA RAISIN NUT BREAD | |
1 c. butter, soft 2 c. packed brown sugar 4 eggs 4 c. flour, sifted 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. raisins 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 6 lg. ripe bananas, peeled & mashed Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift together dry ingredients. Toss raisins and nuts into flour mixture. Add to creamed mixture, alternately with mashed bananas. Pour into 2 well greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes until done. |
