OATMEAL SCOTCHIES 
1 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. pkg. butterscotch morsels
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. oats, uncooked

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and morsels, drop by level tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes (chewy), 9 to 10 minutes for crispier. Makes 4 dozen 3" cookies.
