THE BEST BAKED BEANS 
8 slices bacon
4 lg. onions, sliced & separated into rings
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 (15 oz.) can butter beans, drained
1 can green limas, drained
1 can dark kidney beans, drained
1 (1 lb. 11 oz.) jar B & M baked beans, not drained

Fry bacon until crisp and drain off fat. Cook onion rings in oil until tender. Add sugar, mustard, garlic and vinegar. Cook 15 minutes. Combine with beans and bacon pieces (crushed bacon). Pour into large casserole. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 30 minutes more. Freezes well. Serves 12.
