SOUR CREAM BANANA NUT BREAD | |
1/2 stick butter, softened 1 1/3 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. plain flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 3/4 tsp. salt 1 (8 oz.) sour cream 1 c. mashed bananas (2 lg.) 1/2 c. nuts (chopped) Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Beat butter and sugar in bowl until fluffy. Beat in eggs. Add vanilla. Add flour and other dry ingredients alternating with sour cream until blended. Add bananas and nuts. Turn into greased and floured large loaf pan. Bake about 1 hour at 325 degrees. |
