CHOCOLATE TURTLES 
3/4 lb. vanilla caramels
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. water (divided)
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolates
3 tsp. light corn syrup
confectioners sugar
pecan halves

Melt caramels, butter, and 1 Tablespoon of water over boiling water. (Keep warm over hot water.) Melt chocolate, light corn syrup, and 1 Tablespoon water over hot water (not boiling). Remove from water.

Drop caramel on confectioners sugar by teaspoonful. Press pecan halves flat side down on each caramel round. Spoon chocolate mixture on top of pecans. Chill.
