FLOSSIE'S CHOCOLATE COCONUT
CANDY
 
3/4 c. plain mashed potatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
2 (1 lb.) boxes of confectioners sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 lb. flaked coconut
2 tsp. vanilla

In a double boiler melt butter. Add potatoes, sugar, coconut, and vanilla. Mix well. Press into a 9 x 13 inch cookie sheet. Cool. Cut into 2 inches squares. Melt in a double boiler the following: 4 squares unsweetened chocolate 1/2 cake of paraffin wax, melted first

With 2 forks, gently take each square and dunk it into the hot melted chocolate, cover completely. Place each piece on wax paper and let set.
