RAW APPLE CAKE 
4 c. chopped apples
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

GLAZED ICING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 stick butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. white syrup

Stir sugar into chopped apples and let stand while you mix ingredients. Combine oil, eggs and add to apple mixture. Stir together flour, cinnamon, soda and salt. Add to apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes in a 9"x13" pan.

Cooking icing for 7 minutes. Pour over cake while still hot in pan.
