MOLASSES COOKIES 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. molasses
1 c. Crisco, melted
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt (scant)
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda (heaping)
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Chill in refrigerator overnight after mixing. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes 30 large cookies. Put close together on cookie sheet. Pat out cookies on floured wax paper.
