BANANA PUDDING 
1 (3 1/8 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling
2 1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, separated, at room temperature
35 vanilla wafers
3 med. bananas, thinly sliced
1/4 c. sugar

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In medium saucepan, over medium heat, blend vanilla pudding and pie filling, milk and egg yolks. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. In 1 1/2 quart round casserole, spoon 1/4 cup pudding mixture. Top with a layer of vanilla wafers. Top with 1/3 banana slices and 1/3 of the remaining pudding. Layer twice more.
