ORIGINAL BANANA PUDDING | |
3/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. flour Dash salt 4 eggs, separated at room temperature 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. milk Combine sugar, flour and salt in double boiler. Stir in 4 egg yolks and milk; blend well. Cook, uncovered, over boiling water, stirring constantly until thickened. Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes. Cool. Add 5 medium fully ripe bananas sliced. Line bowl with 30 vanilla wafers, then add pudding mixture. Crumble 10-15 wafers and top pudding mixture and decorate with 1 large sliced banana. |
