BROWN RICE WITH MUSHROOMS 
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. uncooked white rice
1 lg. can mushrooms
2 cans chicken or beef consomme soup

Melt butter in a skillet. Brown rice and onions in butter. Pour in casserole dish. Add mushrooms and soup. Cook covered 1 hour in 300 degree oven. Uncover and cook 30 minutes to dry out.
