BROWN RICE AND MUSHROOM
CASSEROLE
 
1 sm. chopped onion
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 can beef consomme
1 can French onion soup
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 lg. can mushrooms, drained

Saute onion in butter. Place rice in a 2 quart casserole dish. Add other ingredients. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 6. (You can microwave this in 20 minutes.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
