EASY BAKED SPAGHETTI 
3 tbsp. bacon drippings
2 med. onions, chopped
1 peeled clove garlic
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. tomatoes
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
2 c. raw spaghetti
1 c. water
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Cook onions and garlic in dripping 5 minutes. Add beef and cook until it has lost all its redness. Stir in next 4 ingredients. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Break 1/2 raw spaghetti into greased 2 quart casserole. Discard garlic. Add water to sauce. Pour 1/2 over spaghetti. Sprinkle with 1/2 cheese. Add rest of spaghetti, rest of sauce, and remaining cheese on top. Bake, covered, 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes. Serves 6.
