NEVER FAIL CUPCAKES 
1 egg
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sour milk or cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. hot water

Put ingredients in your mixing bowl in order given. Do not stir until all the ingredients are in. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Makes 15 to 16 cupcakes.
