CHOCOLATE GINGERBREAD | |
1 c. molasses 1/2 c. sour milk 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. water 3 tbsp. melted butter 1 tsp. ginger 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. flour 2 oz. melted chocolate Mix molasses and sour milk together. Add 2 tablespoons butter and baking soda dissolved in water. Mix flour with spices, salt, chocolate, and remaining butter and add to mixture. Pour in 3 greased round cake molds and bake for 20 minutes in oven at moderate heat. Remove from molds, cool, and top with vanilla or chocolate icing. |
