3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. mace
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped nuts

Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and spices. Mix in separate bowl eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients. Add chopped apples and nuts. Put in greased and floured angel food cake pan. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
