BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 round steak
1 can beef consomm
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 chopped onion
1 c. sour cream
4 to 6 c. cooked noodles

Cut round steak into 1-inch strips and coat with seasoned flour. Brown on all sides in butter. Put on platter.

Brown onion and saut mushrooms. Add more butter if necessary. Add consomm (undiluted) and scrape bits from bottom of pan. Return beef to skillet and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Take off heat. Stir in sour cream. Serve over noodles. (Add sour cream just before serving.)
