BEER BATTER SHRIMP 
1 lb. jumbo shrimp
1 1/2 c. flour
12 oz. can beer
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour
Oil

Combine 1 1/2 cup of flour, beer and salt in a bowl. Stir until batter is mixed well. Clean shrimp and dip in flour then batter. Heat oil in a deep pot until very hot. Drop battered shrimp one at a time into hot oil. When shrimp start to float and turn golden, remove from oil and drain on paper towel. Serves four.
