TUNA BISCUIT ROLL | |
2 c. biscuit mix 1/2 envelope (2 to a pkg.) dry onion soup mix 1 can (7 oz.) tuna, drained and flaked 1/3 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing 1 can condensed cheese soup 1/4 c. water (or milk for richer sauce) Prepare biscuit mix with liquid, following label directions for biscuits. Add onion soup mix. Beat 10 to 15 strokes. Roll out into a 12 x 6 inch rectangle. Mix the tuna and mayonnaise or salad dressing and spread over dough. Roll up, jelly roll fashion, rolling the long side, so it's still 12 inches long. Bake in a very hot 450 degree oven for 15 minutes, or until roll is golden. Meanwhile, mix soup and water or milk in a small saucepan and heat. Cut the tuna roll in thick slices and pour the cheese sauce over it. Makes 6 servings. |
