KOSHER DILLS 
1 qt. white vinegar
3 qt. water
3/4 c. salt

Bring this mixture to a boil. Place a head of dill in the bottom of the jar, pack cucumbers in the jars, place another head for dill and a clove of garlic in the top of the jar. Pour the hot brine over cucumbers, let stand until brine is lukewarm. Drain brine off and reheat it until boiling, pour over cucumbers again and seal with hot lids and rings.
