CHOCOLATE NUT PIE 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. flour
3 eggs
1/2 c. corn syrup
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. bourbon
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. chocolate chips
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add flour and mix until it is absorbed. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well after each. Mix corn syrup, salt, vanilla and bourbon into batter. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.

Immediately pour into pie shell and bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. It should be chewy, but not runny. Remove from oven and let set about 30 minutes before serving. May be re-warmed slightly, if desired. May serve with ice cream or whipping cream.
