RUM OR WHISKEY BALLS 
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces, melted
1/3 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. corn syrup
1/3 c. rum, bourbon (or other liquor or liqueur)
2 1/2 c. vanilla (or chocolate) wafer crumbs
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
3 tbsp. granulated sugar

Combine melted chocolate, powdered sugar, corn syrup and rum. Stir in crumbs and walnuts, blending well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Combine cocoa and granulated sugar. Roll balls in cocoa mix. Store in an airtight container at least 1 day before serving. Makes 55 (1 inch) balls.
